Content creators needed a minimal, modern blogging solution with rich text editing, secure auth, and media uploads—without relying on bloated CMS tools.
Developed a fully functional blog platform using Next.js for the frontend and server-side rendering, Prisma for database ORM, Express.js REST APIs for data operations, Cloudinary for image uploads, and NextAuth for secure user authentication.
Learned how to integrate a complete auth system using NextAuth with role-based access, implement image storage via Cloudinary, and structure a full-stack app with clean separation between backend (Express) and frontend (Next.js).
Plan to add markdown support, scheduled publishing, AI-generated summaries, and a notification system for user interactions.
